Six Flags had a vision. The 200-room hotel located in Lake George would be representative of the region, themed to depict the great camps of the Adirondacks. Unique custom interior elements including furniture, lighting and artwork were developed for this property. By listening closely to our client's design intent, we developed specifications that brought maximum value to the project in terms of budget, aesthetics and Adirondack authenticity.
The 77 units in this resort hotel/luxury condominium were designed to reflect the arts and Crafts style and are clothed in a color palate that payes tribute to the Catskill Mountain region. This ski-in/ski-out building includes a restaurant, spa, conference room and fitness facility.
The 180-room hotel connected to Albany Medical Center was designed to be a signature property for the Hilton Garden Inn brand. Working closely with the owner, architect and purchasing agent, Heather Demoras Design Consultants developed custom interior finishes, furniture and artwork specification. The scope of design included the two-story public lobby, corridors, meeting rooms and guest rooms. In addition, HDDC was responsible for theme creation and designing the hotel's new restaurant, The Recovery Room Sports Grill.
Typically, Marriott Corporate Design develops a design standard for franchise owners to follow. At the inception of the Springhill Suites project, Marriott was between prototypes. HDDC was hired for the sensitive process of coordinating all interior finishes and specification in such a way that this property actually contained two standards - the public space standard specifications and Marriott's future guest room standards. HDDC also produced a custom artwork package that rounded out the furniture, finishes and equipment package.
